‘Queen of Hearts’, directed by May el-Toukhy and starring Trine Dryholm, has been chosen as Denmark’s official selection for the 2020 Oscars for International Feature Film.
After premiering at Sundance, where it won the audience award, it went on to win three awards at Gothenburg Film Festival – best Nordic film, acting and audience awards.
