The Film Constellations independent feature ‘Tell it to the Bees’, premiered on Friday at the Glasgow Film Festival. Featuring Lauren Lyle (pictured below) as Annie Kranmer, the 1950’s set film tells the story of a small town romance between a female doctor and her young patient’s mother. The film is directed by Annabel Jankel and also stars Anna Paquin and Holliday Grainger. The screenplay by Henrietta and Jessica Ashworth is based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Fiona Shaw.
The film is set for release in the USA in May 2019.
