James was recently seen as a leading role in RETREAT, written and directed by d/Deaf director, Ted Evans and supported by BBC Films. Prior to this James was seen in Luke Snelling’s BBC drama REUNION from Warp Films.
On stage James recently completed a tour with Definitely Theatre’s production of THE PROMISE which included The Lyric Hammersmith, Birmingham Rep, and Home, Manchester.
James is fluent in both British Sign Language (BSL) and spoken English, as well as being adept at International Sign (IS). He is the first d/Deaf man to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
